The training scheme runs with a full university-level credit load. It emphasizes practice-oriented – especially classic fine art – techniques in the genres of painting, sculpture, and graphics. The course is primarily structured around the Greco-Roman, Renaissance, and European traditions of figurative representation, utilizing the world-renown Barcsay methodology of anatomical instruction. Interested students have the chance to try out and use new media.
Our university offers everything from conservation training to departments teaching media techniques. The library, art collection and archives of the university provide support for art research and practical art training.
