4 academic semesters (2 calendar years), including one semester final year research and thesis writing in Audi related manufacturing plants research facilities around the world.
German language (intermediate level)
The aim of the course is to train students for effective work in the automotive industry focusing on engine technology to fulfill the needs of engine manufacturing plants (particularly Audi Hungaria Motor Kft.), their suppliers, and their R&D efforts. The program covers a broad range of advanced engineering and internal combustion engine related subjects and culminates in a one semester long final thesis project in one of the manufacturing plants of the Volkswagen Concern. The training medium is German so the students can build a professional network while participating in our practice-oriented training program. The research assignments are defined on the area of Engine mechanics, analysis, and tribology. Students can also participate in the Formula Student team in their race engine design project. The training program is future oriented and happens on cutting edge engine dynamometers. Students acquire special skills while participating in many of our extracurricular activities and projects thus having great employment opportunities in the automotive industry after finishing the four-semester M.Sc. program.
