The aim of the BSc program is to train agricultural engineers capable of realizing production, leader, management, controlling and organization work in agricultural enterprises of different size and type, completing tasks in enterprises dealing with the processing and marketing of agricultural products and also realizing professional management duties and analysing and controlling commercial, economic processes in connection with agriculture. The program consists of 6 academic semesters and 1 semester of comprehensive professional training. Professional training is also provided via 5×1 weeks of full-time education week training. The thorough theoretical and practical knowledge provided by the program enables students to work on various fields of agriculture and also prepares them for the participation in a wide range of various MSc programs related to agriculture. During the first two (occasionally 3rd and 4th) semesters basic studies of mathematics, chemistry, biochemistry, physics, information technology, statistics, technology in agriculture, general zoology, botany, basic studies in agriculture, health and safety at work, economics, philosophy and cultural history anatomy and animal physiology, plant physiology, genetics, soil science, agro-chemistry, microbiology, agricultural  biotechnology, water management, agro-meteorology, business law, international agriculture, EU agricultural policy are taught. The professional corporal material composed of ecology, land cultivation, animal production, animal nutrition, animal hygiene and animal health, plant breeding, plant production, horticulture, forestry and wildlife management, agricultural product manufacture, agricultural environmental management, sowing seed production, grassland management, plant protection, basic integrated plant production agricultural economy, farm business management, human management, agricultural marketing, finance and accountancy, quality assurance, business organisation is from the 3rd to the 6th semester in the program. Differentiated professional knowledge is provided through five compulsorily eligible specializations such as agrarian economics and logistics, agrarian entrepreneur, horticulture and plant protection, agricultural environmental protection and pet breeder. Research projects carried out on the pilot farm of the faculty, at various enterprises or research institutes under the guidance of designated supervisors will lead to the preparation of the BSc thesis that has to be publicly defended. The program ends up with a comprehensive final exam.
